APOGEE SUMMER PROGRAM
Description:

Center for Talent Development's Apogee program offers fast-paced, interdisciplinary, enrichment intensive courses for academically gifted students who have completed grades 4-6 by summer 2018. The program's various courses, from language arts to computer programming, encourage students to explore and develop their academic, social, and critical-thinking skills while promoting a positive attitude toward academic success.

Applicants may choose to be residents or commuters. Students take a single course that meets from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday in Evanston, Illinois. Apogee sessions culminate in an Expo, where students present what they have learned.

Camp Innovation Pathways to College Program
Description:

Northern Kentucky University’s Camp Innovation Pathways to College Program is a forward-thinking program designed for high potential youth to discover and explore advanced content and engaged learning. All classes provide the opportunity for students to share interests with other children while exploring pathways to intellectual development, academic enhancement, career exploration, and creative artistic fulfillment. Camp Innovation offers transdisciplinary courses infusing entrepreneurship, science, mathematics, social studies, technology, visual and performing arts, and original interdisciplinary studies.

Equinox Summer Program
Description:

Equinox is an accelerated program designed for academically talented students who have completed grades 9-12 by summer 2017. Equinox offers rigorous courses meant to engage and challenge participants, and the opportunity to earn high school credit at the honors and Advanced Placement (AP) levels. During the session, students take a single course that meets from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., five days per week, in Evanston, Illinois. Equinox offers both commuter and residential options.

Leapfrog Summer Program
Description:

Leapfrog provides innovative, academic challenges for students completing grades PreK (age 4) through grade 3. Leapfrog courses provide challenging and engaging hands-on activities designed to help students with demonstrated academic strengths acquire and practice new concepts in interesting and creative ways. Leapfrog provides math, science, coding, robotics, design, engineering, and language arts courses in Skokie, Naperville, Palatine, Lake Forest, and Chicago. Students may enroll in one or more weeks of Leapfrog courses.

Half-day courses are offered for students PreK through grade 3, and all-day courses are offered for grades 1 through 3. Morning courses meet from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Afternoon courses meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All-Day courses meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour break for lunch and recess.

The Spark program combines a rigorous academic enrichment experience with fun and exciting social opportunities for academically talented students completing grades 3-4. SPECTRUM SUMMER PROGRAM
Description:

Spectrum is a great opportunity for students who have completed grades 7-8 by summer 2018 to learn at a pace faster than is possible during the regular school year. Participants have the chance to study one subject in depth with peers who share similar interests and abilities. Classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, for three consecutive weeks. Highly qualified, master teachers instruct classes at the high school honors level. Most courses carry one or two semesters of high school credit. Spectrum also offers non-credit enrichment intensive courses. CTD offers the Spectrum Program at Northwestern University's Evanston campus for residents and commuters.
