New OAGC Summer Journal
OAGC has published a new online summer research journal. The journal is geared for more scholarly articles that we are unable to print in our quarterly OAGC Reviews. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals to have their research published. We are accepting articles year round with a final deadline of May 15 each year. Gifted Praxis II Subject Exam Validation Results
In 2008, the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) along with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) ran a validation study on the Gifted Praxis II subject exam. The purpose of the validation study was to determine whether the exam was appropriate for use in Ohio. Based on the results, the Ohio Department of Education has decided not to require this examination for gifted licensure.
