The Achieve in Medicine (AIM)-Higher day camp is designed for graduates of the AIM-High Day Camp offered by Nova Southeastern University’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. This immersive summer day camp offers participants an opportunity to gain an even deeper knowledge on what it means to provide compassionate care to others.
The Human Side of Medicine: AIM-Higher 2026
AIM-Higher 2026 is focused on “The human side of medicine.” This immersive experience will give you hands-on opportunities to explore how cultural, economic, and family issues impact patient care.
You’ll get to:
- Work directly with NSU faculty, simulated patients, and medical students.
- Develop crucial skills in empathy and communication.
- See firsthand how knowledge and compassion work together to provide quality patient care.
- Participate in a research project to gain valuable experience.
This program is designed to give you a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a compassionate and effective healthcare provider.
