Defined professional development hours for general education teachers has been removed. Instead, the rule states that general education teachers must have “ongoing” professional development. No Service letters have been added back into the rule.
What’s next for the Gifted Rule?
JCARR has added the Gifted Rule to the tentative agenda for their September 9th hearing at 1:30pm. After it is filed, the rule will take anywhere between 30 to 60 days to come into effect. OAGC is clarifying this point with JCARR and will post an update once we are made aware.
