While we wait for ODE to release the new report card, it might be good for gifted advocates to familiarize themselves with the changes to the gifted performance indicator. We have had a number of questions about the calculation of the gifted identification and service element of the indicator – particularly regarding the use of the representation index (RI) in the calculation of points for underrepresented student subgroups.
